Full description
The Institute of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine is organised across locations and operates nuclear medicine at both Triemli and Waid sites. The institute has two modern SPECT/CT cameras, a high-end PET/CT device of the latest generation, a thyroid camera, two DEXA measuring stations, an ultrasound device, an ergometry room and a modern therapy station with currently 5 beds. All diagnostic as well as all common outpatient and stationary nuclear medicine therapy methods are offered. In addition, we operate a thyroid consultation session at both locations. Nuclear medicine is a recognised training centre of category A.
To complement our team, we are looking for a committed and service-oriented personality after agreement.
Tasks
- As a specialist, you are responsible for outpatient and inpatient patients in nuclear medicine with a special focus on theragnostics and hybrid imaging.
- Your place of work is primarily the location Triemli. The readiness for a cross-location deployment at the Waid site is desired.
- In addition, you participate with pleasure in the supervision and further education of our young doctors on the way to the title of specialist and regularly participate in reports, interdisciplinary colloquia as well as internal departmental training.
- In your area of expertise, you maintain close, collegial cooperation with internal and external referees.
- Within the framework of projects, you are committed to nuclear medicine services at the highest level and ongoing process optimization.
- With an appropriate specialist background, rotations into radiology are possible and welcome.
Profile
- Specialist title nuclear medicine (MEBEKO-approved), an additional specialist title radiology is an advantage
- Ideally, experience as a senior physician – but we are also happy about applications from the assistant doctors with advanced training who are ready for the next step
- Enjoy being actively involved in all areas of nuclear medicine
- Communicative, team-oriented personality with high social competence and enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation
- Good knowledge of German in words and writing (ideally C1 level)
