YOUR TASKS
- You code the inpatient cases in different medical specialties
- Together with our team, you will continue to develop our coding processes
- Complaints of the cost carriers you check and deal with with your professional insight
- In exchange with treating doctors, you provide complete, accurate and comprehensible documentation
- You ensure that our data is complete, correct and valid at all times
- You are happy to pass on your knowledge – be it during the training of new colleagues or during internal training courses
Your profile
- Completed basic medical or nursing training (HF/FH) with clinical experience in the hospital – a post-diploma in emergency, anesthesia or intensive care is an advantage
- Further training in medical coding, ideally with federal law. Certificate of Competence
- Experience in coding in the acute field and in-depth knowledge of the Swiss DRG system
- Good knowledge of the Swiss health insurance system
- Structured, independent and analytical working method with high self-motivation
- Experience in dealing with clinic information systems and coding software
- Stylistic communication in German, knowledge of French is a plus
