The Department of Occupational and Environmental Medicine is jointly supported by the Institute of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Prevention (EBPI) of the UZH and the Clinic and Polyclinic for Internal Medicine of the USZ. It deals with the influence of working and environmental conditions on people and their health.It is a temporary employment for 1 year, with an option of extension, which is 50% at the USZ and UZH.
The University Hospital Zurich is one of the largest hospitals in Switzerland. Our more than 8,600 employees and around 700 trainees work every day for the well-being of our patients. Tasks: As members of the Department of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, you are mainly responsible for: • participation in occupational health consultation hours, telephone consultations and occupational health check-ups • the cooperation in the occupational health care of the USZ in close cooperation with the occupational hygiene and the personnel medical service • carrying out scientific work with the possibility of promotion Requirements • Self-employed, well organized and reliable working methods at two locations • Very good knowledge of German (level C1) and good knowledge of English • Medical diploma/medical licensure (MEBEKO recognition) • At least 2 years of experience in the field of internal medicine or completed non-specialised training according to SIWF occupational medicine.
