Our interdisciplinary emergency center is led by an internistic and surgical co-direction. Every year we treat ca. 35,000 emergency patients.
The interdisciplinary emergency centre holds the following training recognitions:
- Recognition for 1 year of ambulatory internal medicine category IV
- ISP clinical emergency medicine SGNOR (category 2)
- Tutorat to achieve Abdominal Sonography and POCUS Emergency Sonography
- in the organisational management of the emergency operation
- in the diagnosis and therapy of our medical emergency patients
- in the supervision and training of our assistant doctors
- in the cooperation and participation of internal training courses
- in close cooperation with specialists
- when participating in the in-house resuscitation team
- as team leader in internal shock room situations
- have completed specialist training in General Internal Medicine
- have already completed or are about to complete the interdisciplinary priority title Clinical Emergency Medicine SGNOR
- have the certificate of basic emergency onography or abdominal sonography or are nearing completion
- are communicative, motivated and capable of teamwork
