  • Project background Project title: High resolution experimental measurements of vibrations in rods and rod bundles using ensemble average high-resolution gamma tomography measurements.
  • This project focuses on the development of advanced tomographic techniques to evalute vibrations in rod bundles.
  • The research will leverage our in-house, state-of-the-art, high-resolution gamma tomography system. Job description
  • Construction of a setup with a single rod and a rod bundle
  • Measurements of vibrating rod/rod-bundle using our in-house gamma-tomography system
  • AI-assisted reconstruction and imaging of vibrating rods/bundles using sensors and tomography data
  • Use of machine-learning for noise reduction and data enhancement Profile
  • Master's degree in engineering, physics, applied mathematics, computer science, or closely related field
