Tasks

• In addition to the social service, they run the rehab center, which coordinates and organizes patient exits in rehabilitation clinics, as well as the volunteer service. You will actively drive forward the strategic and operational development of these areas.
• They lead the directly subordinate team leaders and promote an appreciative, participatory and development-oriented leadership culture.
• They ensure an economical and high-quality provision of the service.
• They coordinate and control operational activities, are supported by team leaders and work closely with our external follow-up organisations.
• They work in internal and external projects and promote innovative solutions to optimize patient care.
• They actively represent the social service internally and externally and promote cooperation with partners, specialist groups and associations.
• They recognize cross-departmental relationships between clinics and professional groups and support interdisciplinary and interprofessional cooperation.

Requirements

• Completed studies in social work (Bsc or Msc)
• Management training at MAS Management/Leadership level
• Experience in change management
• Several years of management experience at middle management level, advantageous in the acute hospital
• High level of leadership and social competence, strategic thinking, binding and clear communication and negotiating skills in interprofessional cooperation
• Good knowledge and networking in healthcare
• Strong ability to bring diverse interests together and develop viable solutions in a complex environment
