The Balgrist University Hospital is one of the most renowned orthopedic clinics in Switzerland with an affiliated center for paraplegia and international recognition.Are you looking for a new challenge? Then help expand the team at Physician Associates and support the medical and nursing teams in the care of patients.
We are looking for one for our orthopedic wards by appointment Tasks: • Professional and organizational leadership and further development of the Physician Associate team • Promote collaboration and knowledge transfer within the team and with the medical and nursing departments • Accompanying and promoting the professional development of Physician Associates as well as supporting further and further training • Taking over the medically delegated tasks (visits, examinations, prescriptions, discussions, etc.) for inpatients in close cooperation with the doctors in charge of the case • Coordination of the interdisciplinary treatment process • Contact person for nurses on the wards and employees of the therapeutic services Requirements: • Qualified nurse HF/FH with several years of experience in acute hospitals, ideally with experience in orthopedics or traumatology • Completed further training as a CAS clinical specialist and experience as a Physician Associate • Leadership experience or proven willingness and motivation to take on leadership responsibility • Enjoy working together in an interprofessional environment and further developing the profession of Physician Associate • You accept changes and innovations as a challenge and look forward to actively shaping them • Strong organizational and communication skills • Independent, responsible and solution-oriented way of working • Good knowledge of English is an advantage We offer: • As a member of the Physician Associates and Advanced Practice Nurses group, you have the opportunity to participate in the clinic-wide future together with the medical and nursing teams • An interesting and varied task in an innovative company with an appreciative working atmosphere and an open management culture • Above-average support for further education and training • 20% discount at Balgrist pharmacies • At least 26 vacation days per year • Free day off for your birthday • Travel discount of 50% on the ZVV bonus pass or an annual contribution to a general subscription • Enjoy a healthy and balanced lunch at reduced prices in our company staff restaurant • Free coffee/hot drinks • Various shopping discounts Further benefits are just a click away: Attractive offers for our employees
