In this responsible management role, you lead the purchasing department of the Cantonal Hospital Winterthur and together with your team ensure an economical, legally secure and reliable procurement for a modern center hospital. You are responsible for the operational and strategic development of purchasing, lead your team professionally and in terms of personnel and ensure professional procurement processes, a high quality of service towards the specialist areas as well as effective cooperation with internal and external partners. A special focus is on the further development of purchasing processes, the safe operation and optimization of the ERP and P2P systems used as well as the correct implementation of the requirements of public procurement law.

Tasks

• You will lead KSW’s purchasing professionally, personnel and organizationally and develop team, processes and structures in a targeted manner.
• You are responsible for efficient, transparent and legally compliant procurement processes – from demand clarification to ordering and contracting to supplier management
• Ensure that public procurement is properly prepared, executed and documented
• You develop operational and strategic purchasing in close cooperation with specialist areas, logistics, finance and other interfaces
• You take on a central role in the further development and implementation of ERP, P2P and other system solutions as well as in the optimization of master data, invoicing processes and reporting
• You recognize potential for standardization, digitalization and process improvement and combine economic efficiency, security of supply, compliance and user orientation in a sustainable way.

Profile

• You have completed higher education and/or further education in business administration, purchasing, supply chain management, business law or a comparable area
• You bring several years of leadership experience in purchasing, ideally in a complex health or public law environment
• You have in-depth knowledge of modern purchasing processes, supplier, contract and goods group management
• Experience with public procurement is a clear advantage
• You have very good ERP knowledge and experience with P2P solutions
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision and Jaggaer is an advantage
• You understand the requirements for service-oriented purchasing and support specialist areas competently, pragmatically and solution-oriented
• You are a leadership-strong, communicative and implementation-oriented personality who actively shapes changes and convincingly takes employees and stakeholders along with you.
