The Department of Dermatology and Allergology at the Cantonal Hospital Winterthur (KSW) is an established regional competence centre for the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of dermatological diseases and allergological issues. With a powerful outpatient and inpatient offer, a close interdisciplinary cooperation and the cooperation with the Dermatological University Hospital Zurich, we offer a versatile and technically demanding environment. As a recognized FMH training centre for dermatology and venerology (category C), we are also involved in the training of the next generation of doctors. As part of the strategic further development of our department, we are looking for a senior physician (dermatology and venerology) who would like to play a decisive role in shaping the future of dermatology and allergology at the KSW, either immediately or by agreement. The focus is on the further development of a broad-based, high-performance general dermatology as well as the targeted development and interdisciplinary further development of a skin tumor center. We offer you the opportunity to set medical priorities, to establish innovative care concepts and to actively shape the strategic orientation of the department in a responsible management function.
Tasks
- Professional, human and strategic leadership of the Department of Dermatology
- Further development of a powerful general dermatology with active participation and further development of the dermatological and allergological services offered
- Development and development of own technical priorities
- Establishment and further development of an interdisciplinary skin tumor center
- Self-responsible dermatological consultation hours and inpatient consultancy
- Expansion of the allergological offer according to your own qualification
- Interdisciplinary cooperation and representation in specialist committees and tumor boards (including vascular center, plastic surgery, vasculitis board)
- Training and further education of assistant doctors and promotion of young dermatologists
- Engagement in teaching, training, quality assurance and network maintenance
- Support and promotion of engagement in clinical trials and research projects at KSW
Profile
- Specialist title Dermatology and Venerology FMH or equivalent qualification recognised in Switzerland (MEBEKO)
- Several years of clinical experience, ideally in a senior or senior function
- Broad clinical expertise in general dermatology
- A proven expertise or special interest in allergology and clinical immunology is welcome, but no requirement
- Enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation and the further development of the department
- High patient orientation, communication strength and teamwork
- Very good knowledge of German in word and writing
- Desire to build things, set standards and help shape a profile
