Teaching Developer (m/w/d) 70%-80%, Zurich, unlimited print Print The Center for Active Learning (CAL) of the Department of Biology at ETH Zurich supports innovative teaching and learning formats and supports lecturers in the design of activating courses in bioscientific curricula. The focus is on the didactically sound development of teaching content and the targeted use of digital technologies to promote sustainable learning success. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated personality as a teaching developer:in (70-80%). The position can be entered on 1 August 2026 or by agreement. Description

• Conception of teaching materials in close cooperation with lecturers
• Advising lecturers in the development, use and development of learning materials and teaching/learning technologies
• Evaluation and implementation of new technologies and teaching strategies in the field of active learning
• Creation, digital implementation and optimization of teaching materials and exams on Moodle
• Technical support in performing digital tests
• Design and support of Moodle courses for biology courses Profile
• Master's degree in biology, biochemistry or other life sciences
• Doctorate or multi-year research experience of advantage
• Experience in higher education, didactics in the STEM field and/or teaching material development
• Structured, independent and targeted working methods
