Does the demanding legal assessment and self-responsible management of complex physical injury cases motivate you? Do you want to use your expertise in liability and insurance law to develop fair and sustainable solutions together with different stakeholders?

In this role, at Zurich Switzerland, you will strengthen the Claims business unit in the field of motor vehicle damage and will be part of the Team Physical Injury. You are responsible for the holistic handling of complex personal injury cases with a focus on motor vehicle liability and assess demanding questions regarding coverage, liability and the amount of damage. You conduct negotiations with insured persons, injured persons, legal representatives and other insurance companies and coordinate your cases with the relevant internal and external partners.

• You control complex bodily damage cases holistically and assess facts with regard to coverage, liability and damage amount
• You review and evaluate claims and develop viable solutions based on your legal and professional assessment
• You conduct challenging negotiations with the insured, injured persons, legal representatives and insurance companies
• You coordinate your cases with social and private insurance as well as other internal and external specialists
• You assess recourse options and ensure their consistent processing and enforcement

This sets you apart

• You have a lawyer’s patent or a law degree from a Swiss university.
• You bring in-depth knowledge of liability and insurance law as well as relevant experience in the processing of personal injury.
• You analyze complex issues in a structured manner and have a strong legal judgement.
• You communicate convincingly and appreciatively and also lead solution-oriented negotiations in demanding situations.
• You have very good knowledge of German in word and writing.
