The EOC, the collaborative association of the canton of Ticino, is looking for a leading physician/ physician angiology (100%) to complement his team in the field of angiology.
Angiology is part of the clinic for vascular surgery and angiology and covers the needs of vascular medicine throughout the canton.
The candidate must have proven clinical experience and demonstrate solidity as well as self-sufficiency in the overall range of angiological diagnostics.
A pronounced team capacity is indispensable, since close cooperation with the angiologists of the various EOC sites as well as with vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists and colleagues from related fields (nephrology, neurology, internal medicine) is required.
The candidate will lead the angiology at the Lugano site, lead the training centre and coordinate teaching in angiology in cooperation with the Università della Svizzera italiana, with good prospects for further career development in clinical activity, at the university and in research.
- Requirements profile: Approved specialist training in angiology.
For doctors with foreign titles, it is necessary to recognise the medical professional commission MEBEKO as well as the corresponding registration with MedReg (medrain medical profession register) before the job is started
- Requires the possession of an academic title (PD, Prof); Proven knowledge of the Italian language (required level at least B2) with corresponding registration at MedReg (medReg medical profession register) before job start.
