100% | Trading / Sales / Capital Market | Zurich | Experienced professionals The trading department of the Zürcher Kantonalbank comprises the areas of shares, equity derivatives, fixed income, structured products and FX and precious metals trading. Data and artificial intelligence are becoming a central part of our daily work. In this role, you build the data and AI foundations for modern, data-driven decisions in the trading and sales environment. You work closely with Trading, Quant and Engineering and actively shape the technological development of our trading platform. Your tasks

• Design and further develop the database of the entire trade department
• Build and develop data products and analytics solutions for real-time information in trading and sales
• Opening up market, trade, risk and other relevant data for analysis, pattern recognition and data-based decisions
• Building AI Foundations for the Trade Department and Developing AI-Based Applications
• Design and implement agent-based workflows in the trading environment
• Leading Data and AI initiatives in close collaboration with Trading, Quant and IT Engineering
• Contribute your expertise as an integral part of the trade department and actively participate in the technological development

Your profile

• Above average university degree in a quantitative or technical subject
• Several years of experience in data engineering, data platforms and AI engineering, ideally in the financial environment
• Experience in the conception and implementation of modern data architectures and data products
• In-depth knowledge of data architecture, artificial intelligence and machine learning, ideally with experience with large language models and AI agents
• Strong programming and data modeling skills
• Good understanding of financial markets and trading as well as the ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
• Conceptual strength, innovative strength and a high level of initiative
• Experience in managing teams, projects or interdisciplinary initiatives as well as secure interaction with stakeholders
• Very good English and German skills
