- Design with purpose – create logical data models and end-to-end data flows that are scalable, reliable, and aligned with business needs across operational and analytical environments.
- Lead and enable – guide engineers and delivery teams in implementing physical data models, data flows, and data access controls, fostering a culture of architectural excellence.
- Empower through clarity – own and evolve key data architecture artefacts, including data models, shared definitions, lineage-related documentation, and other design assets that enable consistent use of data across systems and domains.
- Embrace innovation – leverage AI tools and techniques within the data architecture function to drive efficiency and unlock new possibilities.
- Ensure compliance and trust – uphold alignment with Swiss Re's data governance standards and security requirements, ensuring data is managed as a trusted, high-quality asset. About You:

- You understand that data is a strategic asset and take pride in designing structures and practices that make it trustworthy, accessible and fit for purpose across a complex application landscape.
- You are comfortable translating business needs into data models, data flows and data management practices that support operational, integration and analytical use cases.
- You bring a collaborative spirit, a curious mind, and the ability to communicate complex data architecture concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
