About us
The childcare division offers professional care that meets the needs of children and promotes the quality of life of families in the city of Zurich. Its twelve daycare centers are independent living spaces in which children can experience and shape everyday life together with their peers. The nurseries support early childhood learning and ensure that children of different origins can develop equally.
The social institutions and agencies of the city of Zurich carry out four times a month on weekends an accompanied visit day (Saturday and Sunday), the accompanied visit meeting (BBT). After a divorce or separation, difficulties often arise in exercising the agreed visitation right. The accompanied visiting meeting allows the child to meet the parent living apart from him in a supervised setting and thus to maintain and maintain contact.
