Main responsibilities
- The group's research is based, among other things, on induced pluripotential stem cell (iPSC) models of genetic diseases in the ciliopathy group.
- These are inherited diseases which lead to developmental disorders, malformations and progressive kidney or retinal disease in humans.
- To understand the pathogenesis of these diseases, we differentiate iPSCs into 2D and 3D neural models and kidney organoids.
- The activity includes support for researchers in cell culture and the general organisation of the molecular biology laboratory and cell culture room.
- This also includes ordering reagents and preparing stock solutions, cloning, etc.
- For the time being, it is a temporary project-related employment (annual contracts). Requirements
- We want a responsible, enthusiastic, flexible, socially and technically competent professional with completed training as a laboratory assistant: in or a master’s degree in biology or a related discipline.
- They have experience in cell culture (ideally stem cell culture) and molecular biology.
- They perform molecular biology techniques efficiently and accurately and enjoy developing, introducing and learning new methods.
- They are ready for interdisciplinary cooperation with different research groups.
