You like to create sustainable partnerships with key suppliers and keep an overview in dynamic markets. In the area of Key Market & Supplier Management, you play a central role in central purchasing at the Zürcher Kantonalbank. As a fully-banked entity, we ensure the supply of the bank with all goods and services that are necessary for a sustainable business activity. As the first point of contact for our key suppliers, you ensure that costs, quality and security in procurement and supplier management are in harmony and thus make a direct contribution to the success of our bank.

Your tasks

• Development of procurement strategies and roadmaps in close coordination with internal specialist departments
• Identify and implement cost optimization potential for sustainable savings and efficiency gains
• Observe and analyze procurement markets to identify opportunities and risks at an early stage
• Monitor and manage service level agreements with our key suppliers
• Conduct complex tenders with forward-looking negotiation up to the conclusion of the contract, in particular in the area of critical functions and outsourcing
• Ensuring regulatory requirements and professional control of claims, audits and escalations processes
• Build and maintain a strong network of internal and external stakeholders
• Further development of processes, methods and tools such as contract and evaluation templates, supplier dossiers or new technologies
• Completed higher education, ideally in business administration, business informatics or a comparable discipline
• Advanced training in strategic purchasing or supply chain management
• At least 7 years of experience in strategic purchasing with demonstrable success, especially in the goods group IT (ideally including financial market information), preferably in the financial industry
• Very good knowledge of strategic procurement and supplier management as well as experience with complex contract negotiations
• Experience in dealing with regulatory requirements and outsourcing in a regulated environment
• You score with high endurance, resilience and willingness to perform as well as strong assertiveness
• You convince with a sovereign appearance, negotiating skills and an addressee-friendly communication ability
• Excellent German and negotiating knowledge of English
