Job description

The perfect apprenticeship for networked, organizationally strong and customer-oriented all-rounders: women who want to be prepared for the working world of tomorrow!

You will perform a wide range of administrative and organisational tasks at different locations and training places at ETH:

• Implementation of marketing and communication activities
• Advice and support for customers
• Execution of project management tasks and assumption of responsibility in sub-projects
• Use of digital tools, IT systems and communication channels at ETH
• Development of solutions in the team and assumption of responsibility
• Planning and organisation of events
• Understanding and implementing accounting processes

You start your first semester with a basic education in the KV teaching laboratory of ETH Zurich at the Zurich-Oerlikon location. In the team with your fellow learners, you will get to know the ETH as an organization in four training modules as well as basic commercial processes and the IT environment. This basic knowledge enables you to actively participate with self-confidence and commercial competence in the subsequent changing apprenticeships in a department or an administrative unit and to promote your professional development. In the three-year training you will get to know the diversity of ETH. We offer you the framework for professional and personal development.

Profile

You can express yourself very well verbally and in writing, are flexible, sociable and responsible. Planning and organization, communication as well as independent and responsible thinking and working suit you. You are also interested in digital tools.

For this vocational apprenticeship you need a compulsory school degree and good performance in the following school subjects:

• German
• English
• French
• Keyboard Writing Certificate (until beginning of teaching)
