Full description
For the Tunnel Construction Switzerland department, we are looking for you as a cost estimator to strengthen our acquisition team at our headquarters in Opfikon.
What moves you • Responsible for estimating complex projects in the field of underground construction as part of a tender team led by an experienced project manager • Developing the cost calculation basis, including execution variants and project optimizations • Construction sequence and scheduling • Supplier and subcontractor inquiries • Preparing cost estimates and cost projections • Supporting the supervisor in contract award negotiations • Price calculations for change-order quotations for ongoing construction sites • Preparing tenders internally in collaboration with civil engineering and special foundation engineering
This is how you will succeed • Degree and qualifications: You have a degree in civil engineering from a university of applied sciences or equivalent training and already have knowledge of underground construction. • Interest in cost estimating: Even if you have not yet worked full-time as a cost estimator, you are very welcome. • IT skills: You are an experienced, proficient user of MS Office. Experience with BAUBIT or a comparable estimating program is an advantage. The same applies to scheduling with TILOS. • Working style: You are used to working in a team, think analytically and holistically, and handle the tasks assigned to you independently and efficiently. • Language skills: Good German language skills are required. Additional knowledge of French and/or Italian is very welcome.
