The GZO Spital Wetzikon is an innovative acute care hospital in the Zurich Oberland with 150 beds and around 900 employees. The Department of Neurology has been part of the Department of Medicine since late autumn 2022 and, with its certified Stroke Unit as a member of the Zurich and St. Gallen Stroke Network, ensures acute stroke care for the Zurich Oberland and the neighboring See-Gaster region (SG). Every year, we treat around 380 patients at the Stroke Unit and around 50 patients as part of the Parkinson complex treatment, a newly established focus. We provide outpatient care to around 1000 patients with a focus on cerebrovascular diseases, movement disorders and electrophysiology

• There is also an established botulinum toxin consultation. For the hospital we operate a well-frequented neurological consultancy service. The department has a modern technical infrastructure (ultrasound: GE Logiq Fortis, ENMG: Keypoint G4, EEG: Nicolet One).
