The Swiss Epilepsy Foundation (EPI) is a multi-sector company. It includes the EPI WohnWerk, the Lengg High School, the Donation Dapples, a seminar centre with self-service restaurant and the EPI Central Services. In addition, the Swiss Epilepsy Foundation together with another foundation forms the sponsorship of Klinik Lengg AG, each with a clinic for epileptology and neurorehabilitation. Around 1000 employees are committed to these social tasks. The area is located on the outskirts of Zurich, with a fantastic view of the nearby Lake Zurich and the Alps.

Tasks

• Professional management of the service area in the restaurant EPI Park as well as active participation in day-to-day operations (about 70%)
• Ensuring a professional, warm and efficient guest service from greeting and advice to taking care of our guests, actively selling our offer and dealing professionally with special situations
• Professional service from the restaurant EPI Park
• Responsibility for the planning and implementation of banquets, evening events and events as well as competent contact person for our guests
• Participation in internal projects
• Deputy Head of Gastronomy & Sales in case of absence and active assistance in the seminar centre, especially in case of absence Head of Gastronomy & Sales

Requirements

• Training as a gastronomy specialist and/or further education as a dipl. Restaurant manager/restaurant manager beneficial
• Professional experience in gastronomy and profound experience in the service sector
• Strong service and host orientation as well as pleasure in dealing with people
• Organizational skills and an independent, structured and reliable working method
• Sovereign, professional and friendly appearance, even in demanding situations
• Style-confident knowledge of German in words and writing, good IT user knowledge and English language skills are advantageous
• Advantageous driving licence
