Mansioni

• Operation, maintenance and lifecycle management of our server hardware – from procurement to commissioning to replacement
• Installation, configuration and operation of application servers in the Windows and Linux environment
• Responsibility as a contact person for the server infrastructure of our logistics systems, as an interface between department, application managers and external suppliers
• Automation of operational, deployment and maintenance processes with PowerShell and Bash
• Collaboration in exciting projects such as migrations, patch and update management, system hardening and the continuous development of the platform
• Analysis and resolution of disruptions in 3rd level support as well as ensuring stable operation of business-critical systems

Requirements

• Several years of professional experience: as a system engineer in the Windows environment (Linux knowledge is an advantage)
• Completed vocational apprenticeship (EFZ): computer scientist (platform development) or equivalent, ideally with further training HF/FH
• In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments, especially in the areas of Active Directory, GPO, DNS/DHCP, Ansible and Docker
• Very good knowledge of PowerShell and Bash for automating recurring tasks
• Experience with server hardware, virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V) and storage and backup concepts
• Experience in the operation of business-critical applications, ideally in the logistics or WMS environment (Warehouse Management Systems)
• Strong communication strength and pleasure in working with cross-functional teams
• Readiness for occasional evening and weekend assignments, as well as for providing piketting service
