IT supporter — ETH Zürich
Role overview
The VSETH Association of Students at ETH Zurich is the high school representation of approximately 25’000 students at ETH Zurich. At the same time, with his commissions and professional associations, he is ubiquitous in student life away from the lecture halls, organizes various events and offers a variety of services.
To make this possible, about 2’000 volunteers regularly rely on the VSETH IT infrastructure. This infrastructure covers many very specific needs, from the requirements of our 17 professional associations, which the students represent in the departments of ETH, to the requirements of our commissions, such as the care telephones (Nightline) operated by volunteers.
The operation, the further development and support of this infrastructure takes place within the IT-Service Group (ISG). The existing infrastructure has come into the years and is currently being replaced.
