Full description
You will work across different services that are run on our custody platform, together with product managers, engineers, operations teams and our external technology partners.
- Off-Exchange Custody
- clients trade on exchanges while their assets stay in Sygnum custody. You will help onboard new trading venues: mapping the collateral and settlement flows, and writing the operational runbooks and client documentation each launch needs.
- Transfers
- deposits, withdrawals, internal transfers and cold-storage movements. You will work on enhancing the existing transfer flows and their compliance screening, and confirm each change behaves as specified before it reaches clients.
- Wallets
- the wallet types, whitelisting rules and token and blockchain integrations that underpin every product above. You will run new-asset requests end to end, from the initial assessment to the asset going live.
- Staking
- extending the offering to new protocols and assets, from protocol assessment through to reward calculation and reporting. Across all four, this means you will:
- Shape requirements
- turn a request into user stories with acceptance criteria and wort on it together with the engineering team
- Get features live
- coordinate the release process, brief Client Services and Operations before go-live, and confirm the feature works as specified once deployed
- Support clients and operations
- triage requests from Client Services and Operations, find the root cause with engineering, and turn recurring issues into roadmap items.

Questions about this listing
What salary does Sygnum Bank offer for this role?
The original listing does not state a salary. Our estimate for this role and sector in Zürich is CHF 113'000 - 198'500 gross per year — an estimate, not a figure communicated by Sygnum Bank. The calculator on this site converts a gross salary into your actual net take-home once cross-border tax and social contributions are applied.
Is this a full-time role, and what type of contract does Sygnum Bank offer?
This listing is a internship and full-time position. The contract type shown here comes directly from the employer's original posting; always confirm exact hours, notice period and probation length with Sygnum Bank during the application process, since these details can vary by role even within the same contract category.
Do I need a cross-border work permit for a role in Zürich?
EU/EFTA residents living in the border zone of the country adjoining Canton Zürich can apply for a G permit; the Swiss employer files it with that canton's migration office after the contract is signed. Border-zone rules and processing times vary by neighbouring country and canton, so confirm the specifics with Zürich's cantonal migration office or with HR during the application.
