Company and context
- Support the team in managing daily compliance operations, including AML/KYC-related tasks, regulatory compliance activities, and the implementation of evolving legal and regulatory requirements across the organization.
- We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Compliance Team for a 6-month internship.
- In this role, you will support the Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) function in designing, implementing, and monitoring the Group’s Compliance Management Programme.
- Working closely with the Head of Financial Crime Compliance & Deputy MLRO, as well as the Team Lead within the FCC function, you will gain hands-on experience across a wide range of compliance, regulatory, and financial crime prevention initiatives within a dynamic and innovative banking environment.
- How will you make an Impact?
- Monitor and analyse regulatory developments across key compliance areas, including AML, FATCA, CDB20, and other applicable regulatory frameworks.
- Assess the impact of evolving blockchain and digital asset regulations and provide insights on their implications for Sygnum's business and control environment.
- Support client-related compliance activities by contributing to the Compliance Risk Assessment of prospective clients during the onboarding process and assisting with ongoing client lifecycle management.
- Assist in financial crime prevention efforts by monitoring transactions, reviewing Anti-Money Laundering (AML) alerts, and supporting the investigation and resolution of compliance-related matters as they arise.
- Develop and maintain compliance reporting tools and management information, contributing to reporting enhancements, process automation, and digitalisation initiatives for both internal and external stakeholders.
