ETH Zurich pursues sustainability as a strategic guideline in its core areas of research, teaching, campus and dialogue with society. It strives to play a leading role at national and international level. As the staff of ETH Sustainability in the Vice-Presidency Infrastructure and Sustainability, we network, promote, develop and support the ETH community in its contribution to sustainable development within the framework of the 2030 Agenda and shape conditions and processes on the way to a climate-friendly university.

To support the current portfolio of projects and activities, we are now looking for a:n motivated:n and communicative:n university graduate:in (BSc) as an intern:in for a period of 6 months. For ETH Master students, the internship is suitable during a holiday semester or intermediate year.

Job description

• Cooperation in processes and projects in the areas of climate-friendly universities and sustainable development and independent processing of work packages
• Participation in the preparation and implementation of ETH internal and public events and community events
• Support in updating the website and creating web content and social media content

Profile

• Bachelor graduate:in or master student:r, preferably from ETH Zurich or with knowledge of ETH Zurich
• Strong interest in sustainability, the 2030 Agenda, the Sustainable Development Goals and net zero issues as well as sustainability-oriented implementation activities on the ETH Campus
• Proactive:r, motivated:r and communicative:r Teamplayer:in
• Basic knowledge for web publishing and social media (LinkedIn)
• Very good language skills in German and English
