In our development department, we offer you the opportunity for a 6-month deployment in the field of artificial intelligence. They gain insight into modern technologies, can participate in projects and take responsibility for sub-areas. They learn about diverse and challenging fields of activity and thus gain practical experience from the professional life of a development engineer. Their tasks include:

• Collaboration on various AI projects in the field of air defense
• Evaluation of different approaches and integration into the system
• Supporting the AI team
• Expansion and optimization of the existing Rheinmetall Air Defence Deep Learning Pipeline for target detection and classification
• Support in the commissioning of Large Language Models WHAT YOU SHOULD TEACH
• Master student (m/f/d) ETH/FH in the fields of computer science, robotics electrical engineering or comparable with focus on artificial intelligence
• Professional competence within the selected topic, openness to new technologies
• Handling the most common engineering tools and programming languages (e.g. C/C++, Linux, Python, Git, etc.)
• Independent and structured working method, solution-oriented approach, self-taught
