Canton of Zurich Education Directorate Cantonal School High Promenade secondary school teacher mbA for computer science 70% The cantonal school Hohe Promenade is a long-school school with an old- and modern-language profile (from 2029 onwards additionally with specializations in social sciences and natural sciences), an immersion course German/English and a strong STEM offer. Around 800 students learn at our school, teach and accompany 150 teachers and employees in administration and operations. • They teach computer science in the basic and supplementary subject in the lower and upper high school, the interdisciplinary subject "Experimentation and discovery" and the Freifach Makerspace
• Further interdisciplinary formats are possible.
• You will contribute to convincingly and attractively shaping the future area of engineering, consisting of an interplay between chemistry, physics and computer science (and then teaching).
• They shape our dynamic, analogue and digital teaching formats.
• They are involved in the student board and perform special tasks within the school (class teacher office, participation in commissions and school development projects, etc.). Your profile
• They have completed university studies at master level as well as the teaching diploma for maturity schools (completed or imminent).
• They bring several years of teaching experience at the gymnasium, ideally at a long gymnasium, and stand for demanding and contemporary teaching.
• They are an open, team-capable and committed personality who cares about both professional training and personal development.
