Bring your full potential: Although the job is already possible from 50%, ideally we are looking for a reinforcement with a commitment of 80-100%. Tasks: • For the new and further development of our web-based insurance systems, you assume responsibility for the development and operation in the DevSecOps team. • Development of mission-critical full-stack applications with Angular or React in the frontend and Kotlin/Java in the backend supplemented by TypeScript and PostgreSQL • Active development of Agentic Coding in the team and establishment of new AI-supported working methods in software development • Design and implement scalable microservice architectures with event-driven integration based on AWS native technologies • Collaboration in the agile team, our UX managers and with the various departments • Definition of the application architecture for new services and active participation in the technical product roadmap • Further development of our DevSecOps operations and development processes • Quality assurance through automated testing of the software components used and evaluation of new technology trends • Design and maintenance of technical documentation Requirements • Studies in computer science, software engineering, business informatics or an equivalent education • In-depth knowledge of modern front-end technologies such as Angular or React as well as TypeScript and experience working with Figma • At least 5 years of experience with Kotlin/Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST APIs, Streaming APIs and Unit Testing • Experience with microservice architectures and event-driven design patterns • Knowledge of AWS cloud, infrastructure and integration architectures desirable, especially serverless technologies such as EventBridge, Lambda, ECS and SQS • Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing • Open and innovative attitude – you question the existing, communicate proactively and are ready to break new ground together with the team Smile is the largest online insurance company in Switzerland – and we continue to grow.
