Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• 1 year of experience with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, optimization, data processing, debugging).
• 1 year of experience with Computer Vision (e.g., image classification and processing, object detection, visual search), video generation, or signal processing.

Preferred qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.
• Proficiency in code and system health, diagnosis and resolution, and software test engineering.

team is at the forefront of the next major leap – the convergence of AI and XR. This is more than just new devices – it's about reimagining how we interact with the world around us. We're building a future where

lightweight XR devices like smart glasses and headsets pair with helpful AI to augment human intelligence, offering personalized, conversational, and contextually aware experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative computer vision and machine learning technology for applications in the field of spatial AI and context awareness.
• Productionalize innovative computer vision, deep learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the area of third-dimension (3D) scene understanding, including the design and implementation of such algorithms targeted at XR devices such as headsets and glasses.
• Lead the charge in developing and deploying Sensing across a range of XR products and use-cases.
• Collaborate strategically, directly interfacing with system owners to jointly define roadmaps for major XR perception endpoints.
• Scale our impact by developing robust systems and processes that ensure XR perception can support geometric and semantic sensing across a range of products and use cases
