• Zürich — AFRY, Zurich. Description In the Water & Environment team we design the water infrastructure of tomorrow – sustainable, innovative and with real impact for the environment and society. We plan and implement modern wastewater treatment plants with technologies for nutrient elimination, trace substances removal and energy optimization. Wastewater becomes a resource, chemical cycles are closed – for solutions that have the future. Our projects are visible throughout Switzerland: for example at ARA Region Bern AG, STEP Aire Genève, ARA Frauenfeld or ARA Hard Winterthur. Together we improve the water quality in rivers and lakes and inspire our builders with sophisticated, customer-oriented solutions. PRAKTIKANT:IN WASSER & ABWASSER 80-100%

• Cooperation in versatile projects in the water and construction industry – from hydraulics to wastewater treatment to settlement water management and construction planning
• Supporting project teams in calculations, concepts, variant comparisons, data evaluations and reporting
• Participation in project meetings and construction site visits
• Tasks are individually tailored to the technical background (construction or environmental engineering)
• Requisiti
• studies in civil or environmental engineering (ETH or FH), at least in the 6th Semester
• Interest in the interface between engineering, mechanical engineering, environmental technology and authorities
• Enthusiasm for topics such as urban water management, hydraulics, process engineering and material cycles
• Joy in learning and developing new tools such as Python, Visio, Hybeka or SWMM
• Self-working, self-initiative and team spirit
• Very good German knowledge in word and writing, French knowledge is a plus
