For the acute care unit B1 with a treatment focus on neuropsychiatry, we are looking for a

The focus of the ward with assessment character is both on the implementation of multidimensional diagnostics and on the treatment of mobile and immobile patients with psychiatric accompanying symptoms, motor restlessness, behavioral problems as well as self-endangerment and danger to others in the context of dementia or delirium.

During short- to medium-term inpatient treatment, we help to stabilize the complex situations by incorporating resource-oriented and milieutherapeutic approaches as well as pharmacological interventions. In cooperation with our social service, we advise the caring relatives/caregivers and look for suitable aftercare support options or suitable forms of care in the future. Palliative care plays a major role in the treatment of people with dementia.

Ward B1 has 17 beds and an additional room for stimulus shielding. Our nursing team is made up of specialists in psychiatric nursing, long-term care and acute somatics.

Your tasks Flexibility and enjoyment of variety are central points. Because that is exactly what working in acute psychiatry means.

• the individual care and support of patients and contact with relatives as part of the caregiver work
• Supporting patients in the activities of daily life and accompanying them in crisis situations
• Consultation and planning of treatment with the responsible doctors and therapists
• Leading one-on-one meetings, group offers and reports

Your profile Do you have training as a nurse HF or FH and are you a motivated personality? Do you like working with people who are at an advanced age? Then this position is just right for you.

Good oral and written German skills are an important basis for the work on this ward.
