Role overview

As a business partner, “Indirect Procurement” is responsible for all relevant procurement projects for indirect goods and services in the Migros Cooperative Association (MGB), the cooperatives and other Migros companies.

Main responsibilities

  • Development and implementation of holistic product group strategies in the responsible service category of construction and infrastructure, in close cooperation with the relevant specialist groups
  • Management of procurement projects with responsibility for all steps of the strategic procurement process
  • Identification of optimization potential, creation of performance and cost transparency as well as scenario analyzes and benchmarking
  • Lateral management of cross-functional product group teams in technical, strategic and procedural terms
  • Active stakeholder management with stakeholders and committees to identify needs and collaborate in cross-functional team requirements
  • Several years of professional experience: in strategic purchasing in the construction or infrastructure context
  • Completed studies (university/ETH, FH, HF): or comparable training with a focus on purchasing and, if possible, in the field of construction and infrastructure
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and value-oriented behavior in combination with a profound understanding of strategic procurement in the indirect area
  • Proven competence in moderation, negotiation and communication, confident appearance, committed and team-oriented personality
  • Above-average analysis and Negotiation skills, cooperation and communication skills, high assertiveness and decision-making skills
