With their work in the five social centres, the social services ensure that people in the city of Zurich can count on effective basic social care.
For the intake in the social center Albisriederhaus directly in the center we are looking for reinforcement from now on or by agreement.
Tasks
- They comprehensively clarify the concerns in the context of the economic and personal social assistance of the clients.
- They provide short-term financial support with the aim of professional and social integration.
- They are responsible for triage, networking and coordination and initiate immediate measures in the areas of social assistance and crisis intervention.
- They work together with quarter teams, specialist bodies, authorities and social insurance companies.
- You will be administratively supported by administrators, can draw on the knowledge of internal specialist positions and work closely with your colleagues in the team.
Profile
- Studies of Social Work (FH) with deepening Social Work, completed or shortly before graduation (applications of students in the final year are expressly welcome)
- Knowledge of the legal basis and procedures of economic social assistance and, ideally, initial experience in its practical application
- Commercial flair and good knowledge of financial topics
- Rapid detection of complex situations and ability to assume different roles in counselling
- Joy of working with people and dealing well with conflicting expectations
