We look forward to expanding and supplementing our HR consulting team with you as an experienced:r HR Business Partner:in within the framework of post-occupation and succession planning. The Department of Personnel at the University of Zurich (UZH) looks after around 10,000 employees. In cooperation with the decentralised personnel managers, it offers all consulting services, processes and systems of integrated personnel management for all faculties as well as for central services.
Tasks
You work in the HR Consulting department within the Human Resources department as an HR Business Partner. In this demanding role, you are responsible for the organizational units assigned to you and advise leaders at all levels on employment-related issues, in particular management and legal issues. They are responsible for the classification of posts as well as review and determination of salaries within the pay structure of the university. They advise managers on management measures and instruments and support them in the support and development of employees. Through your participation in professional projects as well as in the current implementation of HR digitization, you actively shape our professional personnel management. They also carry out the occasional placement of HR topics as part of training for HR employees and managers. You work in a team of very experienced HR Business Partners:innen. Her diverse work is carried out in close cooperation with the entire HR team as well as with the managers, employees and numerous other internal and external positions.
Profile
For this position, we presuppose you have several years of practical experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally you have your own management experience as well as experience from the public sector. An education or further education in Human Resources Management is presupposed, a university or university of applied sciences study is advantageous. Their working languages are German and English. They are very service-oriented, strong in communication and empathetic in their dealings, while at the same time being assertive. They are well organized, work independently and efficiently, with their own high quality standards and are ready to work as an HR Business Partner.
