This workplace comprises five food-service outlets, including a bar. The meeting place in Zurich creates an inviting meeting point for students, employees and other guests of the University of Zurich. Every day, our team delights an average of up to 3'700 guests with a varied offering – from diverse lunch and evening menus and a bar to internal and external catering. Are you our new team member who will support us as an operations all-rounder (50%) with immediate effect or by agreement? You will work from Monday to Friday between 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Your task menu

• Washing dishes, cutlery and all kitchen utensils
• Carrying out various cleaning tasks at the buffet as well as in public areas, such as tables, floors, etc.
• Ensuring cleanliness and order in the office area and throughout the entire operation
• Disposal and waste separation
• Maintenance and care of the machines in the dishwashing area
• Looking after guests at the buffet
• Managing the menu distribution during lunch service
• Implementing ZFV quality and service standards

Your recipe for success

• Initial experience in the hospitality industry
• Good spoken and written German skills
• Eager to learn and resilient
• Hygiene-conscious
• Structured and independent

What we offer you

For this position, with a 100% workload, we offer an annual salary between CHF 52'000 and CHF 60'000 (including a 13th monthly salary), depending on your experience and qualifications.
