At the Lengg Clinic at the Swiss Epilepsy Centre in Zurich, we accompany children and adolescents with (suspected) epilepsy holistically during their inpatient stay. Our hospital school enables them to continue their school development even under challenging health conditions and creates stability, normalcy and prospects.

Requirements
- Individual lessons for children and adolescents during the hospital stay also in complex health situations (planning, preparation and follow-up)
- Flexible adaptation of learning content and funding goals to medical, developmental, psychosocial and school requirements
- Ensuring school connectivity in close coordination with schools of origin
- Advice for parents, guardians and teachers and specialists in dealing with epilepsy in everyday school life
- Close interdisciplinary cooperation with medicine, nursing, (neuro-)psychology, therapies and social counselling
- Participation in visits and case discussions as well as active participation in holistic support
- Lessons in small groups or in individual setting (also directly at the hospital bed)
