In this role, you accompany families in a sensitive phase of life and actively support breastfeeding and health promotion at the USZ. Together with a multi-professional team, you will continue to shape consulting, development and quality in breastfeeding consulting. >The University Hospital Zurich is one of the largest hospitals in Switzerland. Our more than 8,600 employees and around 700 trainees work every day for the well-being of our patients.

Tasks

• Family-centered advice for pregnant women and mothers around the topic of breastfeeding and nutrition of the newborn
• Independent and structured day organization both in the outpatient office hours and in the stationary area
• Support and promotion of the obstetric teams for technical issues within the framework of specialist inputs and coaching
• Cooperation in specialist development and in defined studies
• Continuous development of the position in cooperation with the midwife expert, the department management and the persons responsible for education

Requirements

• Training as a midwife or nurse / nurse specialist FH / HF. Ideally, you will have further training as a breastfeeding and lactation consultant: in IBCLC or via a CAS breastfeeding and lactation consultancy. Alternatively, you bring many years of experience in breastfeeding consulting.
• Consulting and coaching competence
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
• Joy, commitment and participation in multi-professional cooperation
