Real Estate Financing Solutions is the Zurich-based competence center for mortgages and real estate financing and is centrally responsible for the entire Private Clients Unit. The mortgage business is an integral part of the bank’s holistic advisory approach to wealthy private clients and complements the existing investment and wealth management offering.

As Head of Real Estate Financing Solutions, you have great influence in the development and development of Financing Advisory & Structuring. In addition, you support customer advisors in advising wealthy private customers in all questions regarding mortgages and real estate financing. They develop financing solutions, advise on mortgage strategies and pricing topics, structure complex financing and ensure that high-quality and creditworthy applications and dossiers are handed over to credit management. They also ensure that their team works efficiently and effectively with the customer advisors and makes an adequate prioritization.

They make a significant contribution to the advisory quality, customer satisfaction, process efficiency and sustainable credit quality of the bank’s mortgage portfolio.

Advice and structuring

• Support of customer consultants in advising wealthy private customers from Germany and abroad as well as real estate companies.
• Accompaniment of the customer consultants during demanding customer discussions on complex financing inquiries.
• Analysis of customer needs, asset situations and financing goals.
• Development and structuring of mortgage and real estate financing solutions for home, holiday, luxury and return properties.
• Advice on mortgage strategies, product choice, maturity models and pricing.
• Structuring complex financing in cooperation with customer advisors and credit management.

Gatekeeper function

• Ensure that applications comply with the bank’s mortgage strategy and the defined risk appetite.

• Technical pre-examination of financing applications including assessment of feasibility and assurance of dossier quality when submitted to credit management.
