Tasks

• Participating in the strategic development of corporate management through data-based decision-making principles as well as the continuous optimization of processes, quality and profitability.
• Analysis of CMI, revenues, case costs, contribution margins and dwell times.
• Conduct of benchmark analyses
• Support in the budget process and implementation of grouper simulations
• Monitoring of regulatory requirements (SPLG, minimum case numbers, outpatient in front of inpatient)
• Support clinics in implementing new tariff and regulatory requirements
• Interdisciplinary cooperation with the medical profession, nursing, controlling and coding
• Cooperation in data delivery and ensuring high data quality
• Participating in the further development of digital solutions and the use of artificial intelligence in medical controlling

Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in medical controlling as well as in-depth knowledge of the Swiss tariff system (SwissDRG and ambulatory tariffs)
• University degree in medicine, health economics or business administration as well as ideally a further education in medical controlling
• Analytical and networked thinking as well as pleasure in continuously developing processes, key figures and digital solutions
• Strong communication and consulting skills as well as enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation with clinics, care, finance and other specialist areas
• Own initiative, sense of responsibility and a structured and solution-oriented working method
• High identification with a value- and strength-oriented corporate culture as well as the willingness to actively support the management principles and corporate values of Spital Bülach
• Openness to changes, innovations and digitalization as well as the joy of actively shaping the further development of the hospital

With its 170 beds and around 1,200 employees, the Bülach Hospital provides medical care for 180,000 people in the Zurich Underland and neighbouring regions. Every year, we treat and care for around 10,000 inpatient patients and over 78,000 outpatients. In total, around 1,400 babies see the light of day in Bülach Hospital every year.
