For our Zurich location, we are looking for an experienced Head of Engineering (m/f/d) who combines technical excellence with entrepreneurial thinking. In this responsible position, you take over the leadership of the engineering organization and create the conditions for quick, responsible decisions and consistent implementation. You combine the agility and decision-making power of a medium-sized environment with the technological possibilities, know-how and resources of an international technology group. Specifically, you will face the following challenges:

• Leadership and further development of the engineering organization in Zurich
• Definition of clear technical and organisational priorities and consistent implementation of decisions taken
• Further development of teams, leaders, competencies and engineering processes
• Ensuring a balance between quality, deadlines, costs and technical performance
• Continuous optimization of existing processes with focus on efficiency and speed, taking into account Group-wide structures
• Close cooperation with program management, operations, business development and other international Rheinmetall units
• Translating customer requirements and strategic goals into resilient technical solutions
• Promoting a culture of self-responsibility, decision-making strength and consistent focus on results WHAT YOU SHOULD TEACH
• Completed studies as a Dipl. Ing. ETH/FH
• Military training in FLAB/BODLUV is beneficial
• Very good business and product understanding
• Professionalism in service and customer orientation
• Proactive, solution-oriented and resilient
• Organizational talent with "hands-on" mentality
