We offer all institutional asset management services for financial services providers, companies, foundations and pension funds. For business development in asset management, we are looking for a highly motivated and versatile leader with a strong interest in asset management. As Head of Business Development, you support the Head of Asset Management in strategic issues and projects and are the central point of contact for the various areas within and outside asset management. Your tasks

• Strategic sparring partner of Head of Asset Management
• Responsibility for business development incl. Managing a small team
• Control of strategy and goal-setting processes incl. KPIs, budget planning and close cooperation with financial controlling
• Leading key strategic initiatives and cross-divisional projects (e.g. growth, efficiency, new business models, impact of AI)
• Conception and quality assurance of management and committee documents as well as presentations at the Directorate General and Bank Council level
• Preparation of market, competition and profitability analyses as well as business cases for new topics
• Chief-of-Staff role: prioritization, agenda setting and ensuring efficient decision-making processes in the management team, as well as business risk management topics
• University degree (BWL, VWL, Finance or similar)
• Several years of experience in asset management, strategy consulting or in a comparable function in the financial sector
• Very good understanding of the asset management value chain and regulatory framework
• Experience in managing complex projects/programs
• Strong analytical-conceptual skills, high number affinity and routine in GL/VR-compatible documents
• High degree of initiative and a strong sense of responsibility and quality
• Excellent communication skills in German and English
• High social skills and a secure attitude towards senior stakeholders
• Key role with direct influence on the strategic development of the asset management of Zürcher Kantonalbank
• Close cooperation with the Head of Asset Management and high visibility in senior management
