Senevita is the largest integrated provider of services in old age and employs around 4,000 people. Outpatient and stationary offers merge seamlessly. While the Senevita locations stand for independent assisted living and comprehensive care, Senevita Casa is the leading provider of private Spitex services throughout Switzerland. For the Senevita orchard in Affoltern am Albis we are looking for 1. January 2027 or by arrangement a reliable and motivated person as Chef / in 100% What you do
- Active leadership of the kitchen brigade according to the Senevita leadership guidelines
- Responsibility for a seasonal, market-fresh and varied cuisine as well as the organization of shopping
- Ensuring efficient processes and optimal organization within the kitchen
- Management of the goods purchasing program including purchase book and inventory
- Planning of the daily menus for the restaurant Mela, the care department and banquets
- Ensuring compliance with the hygiene concept and applicable food legislation
- Active participation in everyday kitchen life if necessary
- Training and support of our learners
What you distinguish yourself with
- Completed training as Koch EFZ
- Further training as a qualified chef and/or chef and/or federal certificate as head cook
- Completed vocational training course and enjoyment of training our learners
- Leadership experience with kitchen brigades of more than 20 employees
- Experience in the home kitchen and diet kitchen
- Experience with major events and catering
- Independent, responsible personality with well-groomed manners
- Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate employees and promote collaboration
- High quality standards and consistent implementation in everyday kitchen life
- Very good oral and written knowledge of German
- Good PC user knowledge
