Institute of Evolutionary Anthropology
Job as per 1. January 2027 or by agreement
At the primate station of the Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology, University of Zurich, a position as animal keeper* is to fill 50% as of 01.01.2027. At our primate station, non-invasive behavioral studies are conducted on socio-cognitive abilities in new world monkeys.
Tasks
- All aspects of the care of our colony of white bunch and list fumes (feeding, cleaning, enrichment, minor repair work, keeping animal lists on the PC)
- Assistance in our behavioural observations and experiments
Profile
- Completed animal care training or equivalent
- Experience working with New World Apes
- Craftsmanship desired
- High degree of responsibility and independence
