WHY WE'RE LOOKING FOR YOU As a Material Manager Procurement (m/w/d), you ensure that all necessary materials and components are available on time and in the required quality and quantity to guarantee timely production of customer products. Your tasks in detail:

• Ensure material availability along the entire supply chain, from ordering to delivery
• Analyze bottlenecks, derive measures, coordinate across teams and implement them to ensure delivery capability
• Independently monitor, prioritize and escalate critical materials and delivery delays
• Serve as the central point of contact for important stakeholders
• Close coordination with commodity procurement and project procurement, planning, work preparation, logistics and production
• Lead and participate in shopfloor and escalation meetings, present procurement status reports
• Create reports, key performance indicators (e.g. material availability, missing parts, delivery dates) and action recommendations
• Support the implementation of on-time delivery targets within the supply chain

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING

• Completed technical vocational training or commercial basic training with additional technical training (e.g. Technical Merchant m/w/d with federal diploma)
• Further training in procurement (e.g. Procurement Specialist m/w/d with federal diploma) is advantageous
• Several years of professional experience in procurement, material management or supply chain in a manufacturing industrial company
• Sound knowledge of SAP (module MM/PP) as well as confident handling of MS Excel, BI-Intelligence is advantageous
• Analytical thinking and structured working method combined with a hands-on mentality
• Communication skills and assertiveness in dealing with internal interfaces and external partners
• High sense of responsibility, proactive working approach and resilience even in dynamic situations
• Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
