Full description
The Zurich Cantonal Police, with its approximately 4000 employees, takes responsibility for security in the canton. To strengthen our facility management, we are looking for a committed personality for the Urdorf traffic base as of February 2027 as: Facility Management / Facility Management Specialist 100% Tasks
- Planning and independent execution of maintenance and repair work on building services systems (HVAC, controls and building technology systems) including inspection, testing and repair
- Professional operation and monitoring of the technical systems as well as application of the building maintenance and goods logistics software (CAFM)
- Analysis and rectification of faults and operational issues, identification of causes, prioritization and initiation of sustainable measures
- Deploying, accompanying and monitoring specialist and service staff as well as coordinating service assignments and supporting integral system tests
- Maintenance and management of buildings, parts of buildings and outdoor facilities, including environmental maintenance, winter service and operation of the necessary machines and equipment
- Organisation and management of workshop, material warehouse and workplaces, including material orders and implementation of secondary disposal
- Collaboration in the creation and optimization of maintenance plans, work processes and material concepts as well as updating of technical maintenance documentation
- Participation in projects in the areas of energy optimisation, refurbishment, technical upgrading and conversions as well as ensuring energy efficiency, environmental and safety requirements
- Technical support for the EBA and EFZ caretakers in demanding technical tasks as well as taking over on-call and winter services and holiday replacements within the Canton of Zurich Profile
- Completed technical or craft training (EFZ) as well as a federal certificate in the field of facility management, building maintenance, servicing or a comparable qualification
- At least five years of professional experience in the field, ideally in technical building maintenance
- Sound knowledge of the operation and maintenance of building technology systems (HVAC) as well as in the handling of controls and building technology systems
- Experience with IWMS systems or willingness to familiarize yourself with corresponding applications in depth
- Strong manual dexterity, technical understanding, physical resilience and enjoyment of practical work
- Ability to independently analyze and prioritize technical malfunctions and operational issues and implement sustainable solutions
- Independent, reliable and enthusiastic personality with a high willingness to learn, ability to work in a team and a pronounced service orientation (you are responsible for the FM at the Urdorf traffic base independently)
- Good communication skills as well as readiness for on-call and winter service and holiday replacements within the Canton of Zurich
