WHY WE'RE LOOKING FOR YOU As an Obsolescence Manager (m/f/d), you will advise and support our projects in the field of obsolescence management from the conceptual phase to support during the customer usage phase. You will contribute your expertise and continue to develop together with the team. In this role, you will work closely with engineering, procurement, and service, taking on an important interface function with considerable personal responsibility and scope for action.

Your tasks include in particular

• Managing and continuously developing the OM system according to IEC 62402 to ensure contractual obligations regarding spare parts availability during the customer usage phase
• Managing the OM board and participating in finding solutions
• Defining final inventory levels according to process specifications
• Creating obsolescence management plans, reports, PDN/PCN and OM information for our customers according to IEC 62402
• Close collaboration with engineering and procurement
• Participating in continuous process improvement of the entire OM system
• Continuously monitoring the annual budget for the OM system
• Creating annual reports (budget analysis and planning, processing time for reactive cases, etc.)
• Creating internal analyses for new projects, restart projects, retrofits, etc.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING

• Technical training, ideally with further education in mechanical engineering (e.g., Technician HF) – comparable qualifications are also welcome
• Experience in customer service or a similar field
• First exposure to obsolescence management or willingness to develop expertise in this area
• Process-oriented thinking and drive to independently advance topics and develop them strategically
• Very good practical knowledge of MS Office; SAP knowledge is a plus
• High personal responsibility, initiative and performance readiness, as well as a structured, independent working style
• Excellent German and good English language skills
