Full description
As a Fullstack Developer (AI & Digital Health), you will significantly drive the digital transformation of our clinics. They design and develop innovative, AI-enabled software solutions that both improve patient journeys and relieve medical staff. They act as technical bridge-builders between medical needs and state-of-the-art technology, ensuring our digital healthcare applications are secure, scalable and user-friendly.
Your responsibilities
- Development & solution architecture: Design and implementation of scalable fullstack web applications (frontend & backend) for clinical and administrative use.
- AI integration: Development and integration of machine learning models, LLMs (large language models) and deterministic AI services into existing and new applications to support diagnostic or administrative processes.
- Data & Interfaces: Connecting applications to clinical primary systems (KIS/HIS) using modern interoperability standards (e.g. FHIR, HL7) and ensuring smooth data exchange.
- Security by Design: Ensuring the highest security standards and data protection compliance (DSG/DSGVO) in the processing of sensitive patient data in close coordination with the data protection officer.
- DevOps & Cloud: Establishment and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and management of the cloud infrastructure for the operation of AI solutions.
- Prototyping: Rapid development of proof-of-concepts (PoC) to evaluate and make tangible the potential of new AI technologies for everyday hospital life.
- Collaboration: Working closely with data scientists, doctors and nurses to create user-centricity solutions.
Your requirement profile
- Education: university degree in computer science, software engineering or a comparable qualification with a strong focus on modern web technologies.
- Development expertise: In-depth experience in modern backend (e.g. Python, Node.js, Java) and frontend frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, Vue.js) ideally on the Google cloud platform (BigQuery, Looker). Python skills are preferred due to AI focus.
- AI expertise: Practical experience in the integration of AI/ML components (e.g. OpenAI API, LangChain, Hugging Face, TensorFlow) into productive software environments.
- Healthcare: Experience with healthcare standards (FHIR, HL7, DICOM) is beneficial, but not a must if there is a willingness to familiarize. Experience with Software as Medical Device and corresponding certification processes are a big plus.
- Working method: An independent, agile (Scrum/Kanban) and solution-oriented working method. You have a can-do mentality and joy in solving complex problems with code.
- Personality: Innovation spirit coupled with quality awareness. They understand how to make technical issues understandable to non-technical stakeholders.
- Languages: native language German and negotiable communication in French as well as good English skills are required for cooperation in our language-regional teams.
- Tech stack: Knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud platforms (Azure/GCP) and version management (Git) are required.
