ETH Zurich is oriented towards the highest international standards in teaching, research and administration. We in the Campus Services department support this with services that facilitate everyday work. In the "Business Development and Support" section, we support the department management and the staff of the department in central topics such as communication, (business) controlling, project, quality and risk management, application support and personnel administration. In addition, she is responsible for the vocational training of the teaching professions KV, Mediamatik and Interactive Media Design and ensures professional training.

For our section Business Development & Support we are looking for 1. October or by appointment a committed personality as a vocational trainer: in KV, who accompanies young people on their professional path with enthusiasm, expertise and positive energy.

In this versatile function, you take responsibility for the in-house training of our commercial learners and shape their development during a decisive phase of their professional career.

Job description

You accompany our commercial apprentices (EBA, EFZ and INVOL) during their basic training and assume the operational and pedagogical responsibility for the KV teaching laboratory. With your commitment, you design practical training modules, promote the professional and personal development of learners and ensure a motivating learning environment.

Together with the learners, you define performance and semester goals, accompany their development continuously and check the achievement of goals on the basis of educational reports as well as certificates of competence on performance and behavior. As a coach, contact person and confidant, you support the learners throughout the entire training cycle and help them to develop their potential in the best possible way.

In addition, you are responsible for the rotation planning for the EFZ profile and ensure a high-quality implementation of the training. In your role as central contact person for the part-time vocational trainees, you accompany and empower them in their function as specialist supervisors, promote the professional exchange and actively contribute to the further development of our training quality and training offers. You bring your own ideas and actively shape vocational training in a dynamic university environment.
