For the care and maintenance of public facilities in the Greater Aussersihl/Industry area in the district of West 2 (Region Zurich West) we are looking for a foreman.

Tasks

• They manage 5-6 employees with a focus on external plants both professionally and in personnel
• You are jointly responsible for the practical training of learner gardeners in EFZ Garten- und Landschaftbau
• They plan and organize demanding care and maintenance work such as planting, seeding and pruning as well as plant nutrition, protection and use. Gardening and landscaping work. Taking into account the near-natural care goals, you ensure the quality in the facilities assigned to you
• They carry machines and operate tools and ensure their maintenance, maintenance and cleaning
• They collect offers, supervise third-party services, create reports and do administrative work

Profile

• Completed training as a gardener EFZ with further training for/to the gardener FA, green area specialist or equivalent training
• Experience in the care and maintenance of versatile gardens and/or public green plant facilities as well as in the application of machines (e.g. ride-on mowers, etc.)
• Good plant knowledge and organisational and planning skills
• Committed, responsible, independent person with proven leadership experience and a strong service orientation
• Cat. B mandatory (BE of advantage), good MS-Office knowledge

As a service department of the City of Zurich, we offer advanced employment conditions with excellent social benefits and very good conditions for reconciling work and private life.

Their gross annual salary is between 91’000.00 and 108’000 francs (100% expense). Their effective wage may differ from this wage range depending on experience and skills.
